4.                    Dr. Maqsudul Hasan Nuri

Dr. Maqsudul Hasan Nuri is currently serving as Senior Research fellow at IPRI. Previously he served as Senior Research Scholar at the Institute of Regional Studies, Islamabad (1986-2002). He holds MSc (International Relations) from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, MA (International Relations) from the Australian National University, Canberra, diploma courses from The Graduate International Studies Programme Geneva, Switzerland, and Ph.D (International Studies) from the University of South Carolina, Columbia. He has had fellowships in Henry Stimson Centre, Washington DC, Copenhagen Peace Research Institute, Denmark and Orient Institute, Hamburg. His area of specialization is in conflict resolution in South Asia, Central Asia and the Gulf region. He is also visiting faculty member at the Quaid- e -Azam University and a columnist for The News, an English daily.
